Ans. The author attended the annual Visakha utsav at the Ramakrishna Beach. She observed there the local sights and sounds of the Utsav, she was impressed by the vast variety of traditional crafts, tribal music and dances and food from the different parts of Andhra Pradesh. 

2. Which dancers performed at the Visakha Utsav? How were they dressed?
Ans. Dhimsa dancers performed at the Visakha Utsav. The women were dressed in their traditional costumes and ornaments dance to sounds of musical instruments such as the mori, dappu and thudum

Ans. It is called Dolphin's Nose, because it is shaped like a Dolphin's Nose.

Ans. She saw the road that leads up to the hill has a temple, Church and a mosque. She also saw the lush green hillside, the white blue sea, the natural harbour of Vizag and the City itself.

Ans. The Gosthani River which flows through the Borra Caves causes the water to percolates from the roof of the caves, trickles down drop by drop thereby dissolving the limestone deposits in the caves. 

6. What did the author see at the Tribal Art Museum?
Ans. She saw replicas of the interiors of different kinds of Araku homes. The clay and mud statues, jewellery, hunting tools and kitchen utensils.
